Terms & Conditions
Overview
This website is operated by Legacy Eats. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Legacy Eats. By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all website visitors, approved members, customers, and anyone who accesses or uses our website or services.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use this website or place an order.
Products and Services
Legacy Eats offers prepared food items, frozen meals, baked goods, desserts, and other menu items for purchase.
Product availability may change at any time based on ingredients, production schedules, seasonal items, demand, or other business needs. We reserve the right to update, remove, replace, or discontinue any product without notice.
We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and product information. However, we do not guarantee that all information on the website will always be complete, current, or error-free.
Member Approval and Ordering
Some features of our website, including ordering, may be limited to registered members who have been manually approved by Legacy Eats.
We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or remove member access at our discretion. This may include situations involving misuse of the website, false information, unpaid orders, abusive behaviour, repeated unreasonable claims, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
Orders are not considered accepted until confirmed by Legacy Eats.
Payments
Payment methods accepted by Legacy Eats may vary and will be listed or communicated at the time of ordering.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may be changed at any time without notice.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that payment is completed as required. Orders may be delayed, cancelled, or refused if payment is not received.
Order Pickup, Delivery, and Storage
Customers are responsible for picking up or receiving their orders at the agreed-upon time and location.
Many Legacy Eats products are prepared, packaged, and sold frozen or refrigerated. Once an order has been picked up or delivered, the customer is responsible for proper storage, handling, freezing, thawing, reheating, and consumption.
Legacy Eats is not responsible for product quality or food safety issues caused by improper storage, delays after pickup, failure to refrigerate or freeze items, improper reheating, or failure to follow provided instructions.
Food Allergies and Dietary Information
Legacy Eats may offer products that contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, peanuts, seafood, shellfish, sesame, and other ingredients.
While we may provide ingredient details where possible, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.
Customers are responsible for informing us of allergies or dietary concerns before placing an order. Customers with severe allergies should use their own judgment before purchasing.
Heating and Serving Instructions
Some Legacy Eats products are sold frozen, refrigerated, or partially prepared and require proper heating before consumption.
Customers are responsible for following any heating, thawing, storage, or serving instructions provided with the product, on the label, or through the website.
Where applicable, products should be heated to a safe internal temperature before eating.
Refunds, Credits, and Replacements
We want customers to be satisfied with their orders. If you are not satisfied with an item, please bring the item back to Legacy Eats so we can review the issue.
Depending on the situation, we may offer a refund, store credit, or replacement.
Refunds, credits, and replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis. Legacy Eats reserves the right to refuse a refund, credit, or replacement if the item cannot be returned, has been fully consumed, was improperly stored or handled, or if the request appears unreasonable or abusive.
For more information, please refer to our Refund Policy.
Cancellations and Order Changes
Order changes or cancellations must be requested as soon as possible.
Because many items may be made, portioned, packaged, or reserved specifically for an order, we may not be able to cancel or change an order once preparation has started.
Legacy Eats reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.
Website Use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive purpose.
You may not attempt to interfere with the website, access restricted areas without permission, misuse member accounts, copy website content without permission, or use the website in a way that could damage Legacy Eats or its customers.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to the Legacy Eats name, logo, branding, menu descriptions, product names, photos, graphics, text, and design elements, belongs to Legacy Eats unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission from Legacy Eats.
Changes to Products, Pricing, and Website Content
Legacy Eats may update this website at any time. This includes changing menu items, prices, descriptions, policies, availability, ordering rules, member access, or other content.
We are not responsible if information on the website is outdated, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.
Limitation of Liability
Legacy Eats is not responsible for damages, losses, illness, injury, or other issues caused by misuse of our products, improper storage, improper reheating, failure to follow instructions, incorrect customer information, website interruptions, or circumstances outside of our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Eats’ liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.
Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to customer accounts or ordering privileges at our discretion.
This may include, but is not limited to, abusive behaviour, fraudulent activity, unpaid orders, repeated unreasonable refund requests, misuse of the website, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
Privacy
Customer information may be collected for account registration, order processing, communication, and business operations.
We will not sell customer information. Customer information may be used to complete orders, contact customers, manage approved member access, and improve our services.
For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy, if available.
